Professional Engineers Examination

Requirements

Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements:

  1. Applicants who have successfully completed a standard Engineers written and practical examination shall have four or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.
  2. Applicants who have successfully completed a standard Industrial Engineers written and practical examination shall have six or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.
  3. Applicants who have successfully completed a standard Craftsman written and practical examination shall have eight or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.
  4. Applicants shall have successfully completed an educational program in Engineering of at least four (4) academic years at a college, university or an accredited institution plus have nine or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.
    (Except Applicants who have completed an educational program which is designated by the Minister of Labor in Engineering of at least four (4) academic years at a college, university plus have seven or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.)
  5. Applicants shall have successfully completed an educational program in Engineering of at least three (3) academic years at a college, or an accredited institution plus have nine 1/2 or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.
    (Except Applicants who have completed an educational program which is designated by the Minister of Labor in Engineering of at least three (3) academic years at a college, plus have eight or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.)
  6. Applicants shall have successfully completed an educational program in Engineering of at least two (2) academic years at a college, or an accredited institution plus have ten or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.
    (Except Applicants who have completed an educational program which is designated by the Minister of Labor in Engineering of at least two (2) academic years at a college, or an accredited institution plus have nine or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.)
  7. Applicants shall have successfully completed an educational program which is equivalent to Engineers level in Engineering at an accredited institution which is designated by Ordinance of the Ministry of Labor plus have seven or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.
  8. Applicants shall have successfully completed an educational program which is equivalent to Industrial Engineers level in Engineering at an accredited institution which is designated by Ordinance of the Ministry of Labor plus have seven or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.
  9. Applicants shall have eleven or more years of progressive experience on engineering projects in their field.
  10. Applicants shall have successfully completed a standard Professional Engineers examination in a foreign country.
